Swindon is a town that’s struggled to define itself against its neighbours – but has a rich heritage, beautiful surroundings and a high-tech future.

At the start of 2020, we were invited to help craft the vision and strategy for Swindon’s pitch for the Towns Fund — a regeneration project to help catapult UK towns.

We worked alongside local business boards to create a strategy that brought together the excitement of Swindon, moving away from the cliches and false modesty of the past.

Our pitch won, and secured funding of £20 million for Swindon’s regeneration. The project continues, with Modern Copy as a partner for digital and print marketing campaigns.
